Learn to appreciate

There's one thing I learn, that's important to keep it in mind forever - is to never compare. "The less you compare with others, the happier you will be."

I totally agree with that and I'm still learning to not compare stuff. To be honest, I think a lot, mostly about myself, my appearances, what do I have, what people think about me etc. In mind I know that's bad thinking, but the more you want to stop thinking about something, the more you think of it. 

Let it be, what it is. 
You want to know how I get rid of the thoughts? 
First of all, is it really that important to have more than others? I always ask myself this question and of course the answer is no. Everyone lives in different environment, different family background,  facing different things, having different difficulties. Since the ruler is not even straight, how can you measure? 

Then again, after going through all that; I often write down things I have, instead of things I want. I'm trying to let myself know it's important to appreciate what I have right now. It works definitely. 

Lastly, what others think of me.
Does it really matter what others think of you and do you really know deep down in heart what do their minds think of you. Maybe they don't even think of your appearance at all, so why care? 
Just be yourself, live life to the fullest, be more confident. 
After you think of it carefully...
It probably will lead your mind into a comfort zone of it's own. 
Everything will be alright.
